Components of the Program
What is WREP?
Join Chatham County's Waste and Recycling Enthusiast Program (WREP) and make a difference in our community's environmental efforts!
Designed for members of the public interested in waste reduction and recycling, WREP offers a platform to engage with the community, learn about sustainable practices, and make a tangible difference in our environment. As a participant in WREP, you'll have the opportunity to attend educational classes, where you'll gain valuable insights into the importance of waste reduction and recycling. WREP can help you learn about the impact of sustainable practices while gaining opportunities to volunteer, make friends, and engage in community outreach. Take the first step towards a greener future – join WREP today!
Basics of Enrollment
ALL adult participants must attend at least five out of six of the Waste & Recycling Enthusiast Program (WREP) class sessions and complete an end-of-course assessment to become a Waste & Recycling Enthusiast and an official member of WREP.
